Caroline Farberger

Caroline Farberger is a prominent business leader known for her unique narrative and insights into gender dynamics in the corporate world. Born and raised as a boy, she transitioned to live as a woman at 50 while serving as a corporate CEO. This experience provides her with a credible perspective on the treatment individuals face based on gender, which resonates with diverse audiences, including those considering race, disability, and religion. Until 2022, she was the CEO of ICA Insurance, a leading Swedish insurer. Caroline has received several accolades for her contributions to equality and inclusion. In 2019, she was awarded the LGBTQ Person of the Year Award at the QX Gala by the Speaker of the Swedish parliament. In May 2022, she received the Womenomics Leadership Award from HRH Crown Princess Mary, recognising her as a CEO and transgender role model. Additionally, she was named the 2022 winner of the Kerstin Hesselgren Award, honouring her long-term commitment to equality and humanity in the workplace and society.
