Edward Enninful

Edward Enninful, the Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, began his fashion career at the age of 16 as a model, after being discovered by stylist Simon Foxton. By the time he was 18, he had already made history as the youngest fashion director for i-D magazine. Edward is widely recognized for his commitment to promoting diversity in the fashion industry, as evidenced by his work on Italian Vogue's groundbreaking "Black Issue." This special edition exclusively featured black models, including iconic figures like Naomi Campbell, and was so popular that an additional 40,000 copies had to be printed to meet the high demand. During his tenure as the fashion and style director of W Magazine, Edward achieved remarkable success. Despite the challenging economic climate of a recession, he managed to achieve a remarkable 16.7% increase in ad sales, making it the largest growth among all fashion titles. In 2017, Edward made history once again by becoming the first black Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue. Under his leadership, the magazine's September issues, which featured notable figures like Rihanna and were guest-edited by Meghan Markle, received widespread acclaim and achieved significant sales.
