Tamsin Edwards

Professor Tamsin Edwards is a climate scientist focused on the uncertainties in climate model predictions, especially regarding ice sheet and glacier contributions to sea level rise. She was a lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report published in 2021. Tamsin advises the public, policymakers, media, and businesses on climate science. She serves as the first Parliamentary Thematic Research Lead for Climate & Environment, guiding the UK Parliament on research evidence for legislation and debate.
