Cassie Kozyrkov is a prominent South African data scientist and statistician, known for founding the field of Decision Intelligence. She served as Google’s first Chief Decision Scientist, where she played a key role in the company's shift towards an AI-first approach. Currently, she is the CEO of Data Scientific and a sought-after AI advisor, collaborating with leaders at organisations such as Lenovo, NASA, and Gucci.
Cassie joined Google in 2014 as a statistician in the Research and Machine Intelligence division. After a brief stint in Mountain View, she relocated to New York City. In 2016, she moved to the Office of the CTO and later joined the Developer Relations Team in 2017, focusing on applied AI and data science process architecture.
As a technology evangelist, Cassie has been recognised as a thought leader in data science.
