Stuart Goldsmith is an comedian, podcaster, and actor. Born in Leamington Spa in 1977, he developed his performance skills in street theatre and circus training at Circomedia. He gained recognition as part of the comedy duo Kiosk of Champions with Richard Sandling.
In 2012, Goldsmith launched The Comedian's Comedian podcast, where he interviews fellow comedians, sharing their insights with a broader audience. His stand-up career has received acclaim, particularly for his shows "The Reasonable Man" in 2010 and "Another Lovely Crisis" in 2011 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Goldsmith has also acted in various TV shows, including "Mission: 2110," "As Yet Untitled with Alan Davies," and "The Dog Ate My Homework." He has appeared on Russell Howard's Stand Up Central and performed in the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show "Compared to What."
Despite his achievements, Goldsmith remains grounded, reflecting on his early days as a street performer. He highlights the significance of attracting crowds during off-peak hours, stating, "If you can draw in the crowd at 9.45am in Covent Garden, it teaches you to be funny." His ability to find humour in everyday situations and connect with his audience has garnered him a loyal following and critical acclaim.
