Derin Adetosoye is a Broadcast Journalist, Presenter, Host, and Content Creator currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Columbia Journalism School, expected to graduate in 2025. At just 24 years old, she gained recognition after winning the Formula E Open Talent Call for Presenters in 2020, where she was chosen from 800 applicants. This achievement made her the first black female presenter for an international motorsport rights holder.
Derin has a strong background as a Content Creator and YouTuber, amassing over 65,000 followers among the Gen Z demographic. She serves as the face of Formula E’s digital and social media channels, hosting various online shows and content series, including a travel show with Saudia Airlines, celebrity interviews, and esports coverage.
In 2023, Derin expanded her career into Formula 1, taking on the role of Anchor for the new F1 Academy Series, which is broadcast on Sky Sports F1 and Formula One. This all-female racing series aligns with her commitment to diversity and inclusion in motorsport, allowing her to cover thrilling races and interview emerging female racing talents.

In addition to her media roles, Derin is a UK Ambassador for Adobe and sits on their Creative Council board, working alongside figures like Riz Ahmed to connect the brand with Gen Z audiences. She was the face of Adobe’s ‘Love The Journey’ campaign and has collaborated with various clients, including Sony, Samsung, Natwest UK, Sky Up Academy, Autotrader, Cineworld, Superdrug, and Alpha Tauri.
