Helen Tomlinson is a leading inclusion strategist and women’s workplace health advocate. She works at the intersection of policy, culture, and commercial strategy to help organisations retain and advance women throughout their careers.
Helen served as the UK government's first Menopause Employment Champion, developing the strategy that shaped national employer guidance on supporting women through midlife. During her tenure with the Department for Work and Pensions, Helen partnered with employers to develop practical approaches to supporting and retaining women experiencing menopause.
Today, as Head of Inclusion & Employability at Adecco, Helen drives initiatives aligned to the purpose of Making the Future Work for Everyone, creating equitable pathways for marginalised groups and embedding inclusion into talent strategies at scale.
Helen is the founder of the No Time To Step Back Collective, a cross-sector collaboration advancing innovation and best practice in women’s workplace experiences. She also serves as an ambassador for Wellbeing of Women and is a Trustee of ProAge.org.
Helen’s work is underpinned by the four pillars she champions: education, advocacy, lived experience, and active leadership. Her 30 years in recruitment, HR, and strategic management give her practical insight into the commercial case for inclusion, which she translates into strategies that organisations can implement immediately.
