With a strong academic background, he holds an honours degree in Aerospace Engineering, a BSc in Science and Science Fiction, and a Masters in Communicating Science. Jon's journey in science communication gained significant recognition when the Guardian identified him as education’s next big thing after he created a science rap video for NASA focused on astrobiology. This pivotal moment propelled him into a career where he has collaborated with various organisations to produce science raps and workshops, creatively blending entertainment with education with great effect. His work as a presenter includes notable programmes such as CBBC Space Hoppers and Street Science for the Open University, as well as contributions to BBC Learning and popular YouTube science channels.
