Kamal Ahmed is the Director of Audio at The Telegraph. He is the President of the Society of Editors, a Board Member of the Media Trust, and a Governor at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR). Kamal is also a Fellow of the RSA. Previously, he co-founded and served as Editor-in-Chief of The News Movement, which aims to provide reliable information to Gen-Z on their preferred platforms.
Kamal's journalism career began as a Reporter for Scotland on Sunday. He has held significant roles, including Royal Correspondent for The Guardian and Political Editor at The Observer. His experience extends to major UK publications such as the Sunday Telegraph and the BBC, where he was the Editorial Director.
Kamal has been recognised in the Powerlist as one of the UK's Most Influential People of African or African Caribbean Heritage.
