Laura Whitmore is an Irish television presenter who found fame in 2008 when MTV launched Pick Me MTV, a presenter search campaign and went on to present I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! NOW!
In 2018, she presented her very first radio show for the station Laura Whitmore's Sunday Session and her first radio documentary aired for BBC Radio 5 Live titled Losing My Religion, whereby Laura tackled what religion means in the 21st Century. Known for her roles hosting Love Island, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now, MTV and much more, Laura is one of the most established and highly experienced TV presenters and radio broadcasters. Most recently, Laura has hosted Castaway – the podcast about podcasts – and wrote and starred in her first short film, Sabhdh, for which she won Best Actress at the Irish Film Awards. She has interviewed some of the biggest musical artists in the world, and her love for music has been inherent throughout her career, leading her to DJ at some of the biggest and best venues around the world.
With a degree in journalism, Laura has also used her platform to write about some of the issues she is extremely passionate including Upskirting, #MeToo and #TimesUp campaigns, as well as abortion and the effects of social media, for the likes of Grazia, Elle and Glamour. Her poem for International Women's Day, She, was shared all over social media and in March 2021, she released her first book, 'No One Can Change Your Life Except For You' which became an instant Sunday Times Bestseller. Laura is an interviewer, panellist and host who will wow her audience.
