Laurence Clark is an internationally-acclaimed stand-up comedian who has cerebral palsy. Known for his sharp observational humour, he has performed everywhere from 10 Downing Street to comedy clubs across the UK, demonstrating his versatility and wide appeal. A celebrated comedian, Laurence was awarded Shortlist magazine's Funniest New Comedian and has been a finalist in the AmusedMoose Edinburgh Comedy Awards. His observational, political stand-up demonstrates the endearing naivety and ridiculousness of human behaviour by enabling audiences to see the world through his eyes.
Laurence also regularly performs with the comedy collective Abnormally Funny People and has graced television screens, appearing on the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4. Alongside his stand-up career, Laurence has expanded into screenwriting and playwriting, working as a story-liner on Hollyoaks and Coronation Street. He was selected for 4screenwriting and BBC Writersroom Writers Access Group, and won the UKTV Triforce Writerslam. His comedy pilot Perfect was broadcast in August 2022, showcasing his talent for creating compelling comedic content across multiple platforms.
