Lucy Worsley is a prominent historian and former Joint Chief Curator at Historic Royal Palaces, a role she left at the end of 2024. Over the past 15 years, she has focused on female narratives in history, often overlooked in traditional accounts.
Her documentaries on Jane Austen and Agatha Christie have brought these figures to life, while her series Royal Bodies and Tales From the Royal Bedchamber examined British monarchs through their health and sexuality. In 2023, she hosted the quiz show Puzzling for Channel 5.
Lucy has authored several non-fiction books and two children's fiction titles, with her latest work being a biography of Agatha Christie. She also hosts a podcast that provides a feminist perspective on historical female criminals, which was among the BBC's most downloaded podcasts in 2022.
