Maisie Adam is a prominent figure in the UK comedy scene, rapidly gaining recognition. She won the So You Think You’re Funny? competition in 2017, which marked the beginning of her rise. Following this, she received the Best New Act award at the Chortle Awards and the Amused Moose National New Act award. She was also nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe for her debut show, ‘Vague’.
Maisie continued her success with two more shows. Her second show, ‘Hang Fire’, had a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Festival, and she later embarked on a 63-date tour of her latest show, ‘Buzzed’. This tour concluded with a sold-out performance at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Her engaging storytelling and humour have earned her acclaim across the UK. She has appeared on several popular television programmes, including Live At The Apollo, A League Of Their Own, Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, QI, Roast Battle, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and the Royal Variety Performance.
In addition to her stand-up career, Maisie co-hosts the successful Big Kick Energy podcast with fellow comedian Suzi Ruffell. The podcast won Sports Podcast of the Year at the Sports Broadcast Awards just five months after its launch.
