Along the way, he broke records, becoming the top-selling performer at the Leeds and Sheffield arenas in May, and he became the first comic to do 16 London arenas on one tour.
His previous shows, Out Out and Back In The Game, have sold over 1.2 million DVDs and are among the best-selling comedy box sets of all time.
He was nominated for The Edinburgh Comedy Award 2007 with his show What Chance Change? This became the basis for his Radio 4 series, which led to a TV and show-stealing appearance at The Royal Variety Performance, for which he was nominated for the Best Breakthrough Act at the British Comedy Awards.
