Nish Kumar is a British stand-up comedian, writer, and presenter. Nish began his comedy career while studying at the University of Durham and later joined the Durham Revue, a student comedy group.

Kumar has hosted various television programs, including BBC Two's The Mash Report, a satirical news show covering current events. He has also appeared on Frankie Boyle's New World Order and co-hosted The News Quiz. In addition to his television work, Kumar has performed stand-up comedy tours and released specials such as "It's In Your Nature To Destroy Yourselves Parts 1 & 2" and "Nish, Don't Kill My Vibe."

Nish is known for his activism and political views, addressing topics such as climate change, income inequality, and the challenges British Indians face in society. Despite facing controversy, such as being booed offstage for making Brexit jokes at a charity event, Nish continues to engage audiences with his unique blend of humour and socially conscious content.
