Oti Mabuse is a South African talent show judge, television presenter, and Latin dance champion. She gained widespread recognition in the UK as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, where she made history by winning the show twice in consecutive years, 2019 and 2020.
In her television career, Oti recently launched her own chat show, Oti Mabuse’s Breakfast Show, airing every Saturday morning on ITV1. She serves as a regular judge on ITV’s Dancing On Ice and has held roles as a Dance Captain on The Greatest Dancer and a panellist on The Masked Dancer.
In 2022, Oti explored her heritage in the BBC One documentary Oti Mabuse: My South Africa, alongside her sister Motsi in ITV’s DNA Journey. During the lockdown, she engaged young audiences with her CBeebies show Boogie Beebies, hosted the popular ITV show Romeo & Duet, and participated in the Comic Relief Challenge Frozen.
Oti has also authored a children’s book series titled Dance With Oti, which includes three books celebrating dance, movement, and emotional expression. She has hosted two series of the BBC Sounds podcast: Oti Mabuse’s Dancing Legends, where she highlights influential figures in dance, and Oti Mabuse: The Rhythm of Life, which features candid conversations with her celebrity friends.
In theatre, Oti toured the UK with her solo entertainment show I Am Here and choreographed the acclaimed production The Cher Show.
