Shola Mos-Shogbamimu

Shola Mos-Shogbamimu is a British-Nigerian lawyer, author, and social justice advocate whose work focuses on human rights, gender equality, and diversity. With a robust academic background that includes a PhD from Birkbeck and an Executive MBA from Cambridge, Shola combines her legal expertise with a passion for activism, making her a compelling voice in the pursuit of social change. Shola's journey began in East London, where her commitment to justice was ignited early on. She has since become a leading figure in advocating for women's rights and racial equality, teaching intersectional feminism to female refugees and asylum seekers, and scrutinising government policies through a gender and diversity lens. Her efforts extend to co-organising women's marches and participating in national campaigns alongside organisations such as Care International and Greenpeace. As the founder of the Women in Leadership publication, Shola provides a platform for women to share their leadership journeys and drive positive change. Recognised for her contributions to social justice, Shola is a member of the L’Oréal Women Advisory Board and a trustee for Reprieve UK.
