Sindhu Vee is an award-winning comedian, writer, and actor known for her sharp wit and relatable humour. She began her career in investment banking before transitioning to comedy in 2012, quickly establishing herself in the UK comedy circuit.

Vee's comedy career gained momentum with her debut hour, Sandhog, performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018. The show received critical acclaim and earned her a nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Following this, Sandhog had two sold-out runs at the Soho Theatre and a successful 92-date UK tour.

Her television career includes appearances on BBC Two's Live At The Apollo, where she has hosted, and guest spots on popular panel shows like Mock the Week, QI, and Have I Got News For You. Vee has also showcased her acting skills in Netflix series such as Feel Good and Sex Education.

In radio, she wrote and hosted her series Sindhustan on Radio 4 in 2018 and recently returned with Things My Mother Never Told Me About Lockdown. She co-hosts the Child Labour podcast with Stuart Goldsmith and is a regular guest on The Guilty Feminist podcast.

Vee's performances have captivated audiences in both the UK and India, solidifying her status in the comedy world. Her recent film roles include Mrs. Phelps in the Netflix adaptation of Matilda the Musical and Belkis in Kristin Scott Thomas' directorial debut North Star.
