Brenda Villa is a four-time Olympian and Olympic gold medalist who designs high-performance leadership systems for collegiate, national, and international institutions. Her trailblazing journey began in California, where she broke barriers as a Latina from Commerce competing on boys’ water polo teams. She went on to captain Team USA to historic success, ultimately earning her recognition as FINA’s Player of the Decade (2000–2009). Brenda graduated from Stanford University in 2003 and returned in 2025 as Associate Head Coach of Stanford Women's Water Polo. She serves on the USA Water Polo Board of Directors, the LA28 Athletes' Commission, and holds governance roles with Pan American Aquatics (UANA). Her induction into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 2018 recognized her immense impact on the sport. At Orange Lutheran High School, Brenda led the program to consecutive undefeated seasons and back-to-back CIF Regional State Championships. She applies the same principles that drove her Olympic success to help teams and leaders consistently perform at the highest levels.
