Chris Packham

Chris Packham is a broadcaster, naturalist, and environmental campaigner who has spent nearly four decades making wildlife conservation and climate science accessible to millions. A leading voice in the UK’s environmental debate and a director of the Climate Emergency Fund, he is known for presenting BBC's Springwatch, Autumnwatch, and Winterwatch, translating complex ecological issues into clear, urgent calls for action. Chris holds a degree in zoology from the University of Southampton and won the Prince Philip Zoology Prize for his early research. He has presented some of British television's most influential nature programmes and created documentaries such as Greenwashed, which examines corporate environmental impact and activism. Awarded a CBE for services to nature conservation, Chris co-founded Wild Justice to pursue legal protections for UK wildlife and serves as the first non-US director of the Climate Emergency Fund.
