  • Chairs the board of South Pole, a global climate action company
  • First woman to top the OUTstanding & FT Leading LGBT executive power list
Dame Inga Beale is a British businesswoman and transformational leader with over four decades of experience in global financial services, best known for her tenure as the first female CEO of Lloyd's of London. She was appointed CEO of Lloyd's in 2013, making history at the 328-year-old insurance and reinsurance market. During her five years in the role, she led the digitalisation of the market, launched the Lloyd's Innovation Lab, and opened access to high-growth markets including China, Dubai, and India. Dame Inga has spent much of her career at the intersection of institutional change and social progress. She launched Pride@Lloyds, helped found the International Insurance Supper Club for senior female executives, and has been a driving force behind the Dive In Festival, the only sector-wide diversity and inclusion festival in the global insurance industry. In 2015, Dame Inga became the first woman and first openly bisexual person to top the OUTstanding and FT Leading LGBT Executive Power List. She was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2017 for services to the UK economy and equality. Beyond the boardroom, Dame Inga chairs South Pole, a leading climate action company, serves on the boards of NN Group, Willis Towers Watson, and Crawford and Company, and is President of the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce. She is also a trustee of the International Panel on the Information Environment and chaired the UK's HIV Commission. For organisations navigating transformation, risk, or the demands of building a genuinely inclusive culture, Dame Inga brings a rare combination of lived experience and commercial rigour to the stage.

Can PepTalk help plan the speaker programme for my event?

What logistics should I prepare before my speakers arrive?

Before your speakers arrive, confirm AV is tested, a green room is ready, and printed schedules are on hand. Prepare warm introductions for each speaker and brief your team on timings. PepTalk speakers come fully briefed, making event-day logistics smoother and stress-free from the start.

What's the difference between a keynote speaker, an MC, and event entertainment?
