Her professional career took off in finance and marketing, where she established a specialist financial services marketing agency in 1992. In 2009, she co-founded SCM Direct, an investment management firm focused on transparency and ethical investing. In 2012, she launched the True and Fair Campaign, pivotal in influencing EU regulations to enhance investor protection in the UK.
