Henry Dimbleby is the co-founder of Leon and Bramble Partners, author of the National Food Strategy, campaigner, and non-executive director. He is a corporate speaker and panellist focused on transforming food culture towards a healthier and more sustainable system. His book, Ravenous: How to Get Ourselves and Our Planet into Shape, published in March 2023, critiques the food system and proposes solutions. It combines personal stories, policy insights, and professional experience, offering a vision for the future of business, sustainability, and food. The book became a Sunday Times Bestseller, won the Andre Simon Food Book Award 2023, and was shortlisted for the Guild of Food Writers Awards 2024. Henry is the managing partner of Bramble Partners and was the former CEO of Leon Restaurants. He co-founded the Sustainable Restaurant Association and the charity Chefs in Schools, which places chefs in school kitchens. In 2013, he co-authored The School Food Plan, which led to free school meals for children up to eight years old and mandatory cooking lessons for children up to 14. From 2018 to 2023, Henry served as the lead non-executive board member of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, working under various state secretaries. He has also advised the Labour Party on enhancing the sustainability and security of the food system. Before his current roles, Henry worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company, focusing on strategy, performance improvement, and organisational design. He also has experience as a journalist at The Daily Telegraph and as a chef at the Michelin-starred Four Seasons Inn on the Park.
