Josh Littlejohn MBE is a Scottish social entrepreneur who has raised over £25 million to combat homelessness through a combination of grassroots business innovation and global campaigning. Josh co-founded Social Bite, the social enterprise that grew from a small Edinburgh sandwich shop into a nationally recognised organisation supporting vulnerable people through employment, housing, and community initiatives. The Social Bite Village, combined with a Housing First initiative developed in partnership with the Scottish Government, has helped house more than 1,000 people in Scotland. He also founded The British Business Awards, co-founded Brewgooder, and has raised more than £25 million for homelessness causes. In 2019, Josh co-organised The World's Big Sleepout alongside Will Smith and Dame Helen Mirren, mobilising 60,000 participants across 52 cities in the largest public display of solidarity for homeless and displaced people ever staged. His honours include an MBE, a Pride of Britain Award, a Robert Burns Humanitarian Award, and multiple honorary doctorates. His book Paying It Forward became a Sunday Times bestseller in 2023. Josh draws on this track record to show how purpose-led organisations can create measurable social impact without sacrificing commercial focus. He shares practical lessons on leadership, scaling social enterprises, goal-setting, and building the stakeholder trust needed to sustain long-term missions. Audiences leave with a clearer understanding of how values-driven leadership can strengthen culture, improve engagement, and create sustainable growth. Josh offers practical insight into building mission-led teams, communicating purpose authentically, and turning ambitious ideas into workable projects with long-term impact.
