Lauren Chiren

Lauren Chiren is a global authority on menopause in the workplace and the founder of Women of a Certain Stage, the world’s leading menopause certification and strategy platform. A former senior leader in financial services, her own experience with early menopause, initially mistaken for dementia, prompted a radical career shift and the creation of a global movement. Through her platform, Lauren has educated hundreds of thousands of individuals and supported more than 450 major corporations across sectors in transforming how they approach menopause and women's health. Her work bridges science, business strategy, and inclusive leadership to embed menopause into workplace wellbeing and performance frameworks. Lauren's credibility stems from an extensive foundation in psychology, sports therapy, nutrition, and a suite of advanced coaching qualifications. She is also a Freeman of the City of London and has been recognised with several awards, including the British Standards Institute Social Award and Women’s Health Consultancy of the Year. She co-authored the world’s first workplace standard for menstruation and menopause and has provided evidence to both UK and US policy initiatives. With over 1,300 certified Menopause Coaches, Champions and Mentors across more than 30 countries, Lauren’s impact is broad and sustained. She continues to work with organisations including Amazon, Mercedes F1, and HSBC to ensure midlife talent can thrive. From the stage, Lauren delivers insight with clarity, warmth, and authority. She is known for her pragmatic and evidence-based approach to challenging taboos, helping leaders and teams take informed, confident action.
