In 2023, she published her debut novel, Rosewater, through Dialogue Books in the UK and John Legend's imprint Get Lifted in the US.

Of Jamaican and Guyanese descent, Liv hails from South London and focuses on stories that reflect her experiences and connections.
Her short story, Game Shot, appeared in a critically acclaimed Audible collection of retold folktales.
In 2021, she served as a BBC writer in residence.
