Manuel led Spain's Securities and Exchange Commission (CMNV in Spanish) from 2004 to 2007, where he developed the influential Conthe Code for corporate governance. He served as Director General of the Treasury and Financial Policy for seven years and as Financial Sector Vice President at the World Bank. He has written three books on economic paradoxes and behavioural economics and currently chairs the Advisory Board of Expansión, Spain's leading business newspaper.

Comedians generally start at £1,500 or $2,000 for a 20-minute set.
