Paul Chowdhry is a British stand-up comedian. His previous tour, Live Innit, sold out five nights at the Hammersmith Apollo, making him the first British-Asian comedian to sell out Wembley Arena. The show won Best Live Event at the ITV Asian Media Awards in 2018 and earned him the Comedy Award at the Eastern Eye’s Arts, Culture & Theatre Awards in 2019, along with the Comedian of the Year Award at the Asian Voice Political & Public Life Awards.
In 2021, Paul launched his podcast, The Paul Chowdhry PudCast, produced by Global Entertainment. The podcast features interviews with celebrities discussing significant life events, with guests including Greg Davies, Eddie Izzard, and Stewart Lee.
As an actor, Paul appeared in the highest-rated episode of Greg Davies’ comedy series The Cleaner and starred alongside Patrick Dempsey in the Sky Atlantic series Devils. He also featured in Disney’s film Cruella. Paul was a contestant on the third series of Taskmaster and frequently appears on The Russell Howard Hour. He has hosted Stand Up for the Week and headlined Live at the Apollo twice. His social media presence is strong, with over 50 million views on his videos.
His recent tour, Family-Friendly Comedian, attracted around 80,000 attendees in the UK and included a notable performance in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he became the first British comedian to perform a solo show. The tour also sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023, prompting additional shows.
Paul is among the UK’s top-selling stand-up comics, having completed several successful tours, starred in films, and released a global Amazon Prime special. His next tour in 2025 will include a performance at the O2 Arena in London, with details to be announced.
