Paul is best known for captaining Europe to victory at the 2014 Ryder Cup, a campaign praised for its clarity of strategy and strong team culture. This success was built on his deep understanding of leadership in high-pressure environments and a rare ability to bring out the best in diverse teams. His leadership approach was recognised when he was named Coach of the Year at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards, and later appointed as an Executive Fellow at London Business School – the first sportsperson to receive this honour.
Before turning professional, Paul completed a degree in International Business and a Diploma in Marketing, studying in both Dublin and San Diego. He also worked at the European Commission, laying the foundation for a lifelong interest in strategy and international collaboration. Over a playing career spanning more than two decades, he represented Europe 14 times in team events as a player, Vice-Captain and Captain, winning on all but one occasion.
Today, Paul contributes to the game as a broadcaster, course designer, and board member of the European Tour. He regularly advises companies on leadership, motivation and strategic clarity, drawing parallels between sport and business to offer practical tools for building high-performing teams.

- Once you've reviewed our speaker propsal and have selected and expert shortlist, we'll double check availability and fees with your chosen expert.

- Next, we'll send out contracts to confirm the booking. One of our experienced event producers will liase with both you and the talent on the finer details, and arrange travel if necessary, taking the stress off your plate.

Virtual keynote fees in the UK and Europe typically start at £2,000, while in-person top-tier speakers can reach £25,000. In the US, virtual in-person fees range from $5,000 to over $100,000, depending on the speaker and format, such as after-dinner talks, conference keynotes, Q&As, or podcasts. Comedians generally start at £1,500 or $2,000 for a 20-minute set.
