Sheree Murphy is a British actress and television presenter, recognised for her role as Tricia Dingle in the ITV1 soap opera Emmerdale, which she portrayed from 1998 to 2004.
In 2005, Sheree gained widespread popularity when she was the runner-up on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! Her approachable personality resonated with the public, leading to her hosting ITV2’s coverage of the British Soap Awards in 2005 and 2006. She also co-hosted spin-off shows for 'Soapstar Superstar' and 'I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!'. Additionally, she contributed to various segments on This Morning, including a three-week guest slot covering I’m A Celebrity in 2007, and appeared as a guest judge on GMTV’s Battle of the Brides in 2008.
Sheree's relatable nature has made her a sought-after figure for commercial campaigns, including Pampers, Cow and Gate, Hello Fresh, and the Christmas advertising campaign for Nintendo DS.
In 2010, she hosted GMTV’s Baby Lounge Club, addressing everyday parenting issues. She joined the cast of Channel 4's Hollyoaks as Eva Strong, the long-lost mother of Anita Roy. Sheree also co-hosted the third series of Channel 5's Cowboy Builders, where her episodes received high ratings, prompting a follow-up show.
In 2014, Sheree returned to acting in the Australian soap Neighbours for a six-week guest role as Dakota Davies, an acquaintance of Paul Robinson. Her finale episode attracted over a million viewers.
Throughout 2015, Sheree appeared as a guest panelist on Loose Women and participated in the cookery competition Celebrity MasterChef. Her passion for home cooking and family nutrition shone through as she impressed the judges with her culinary skills.
Sheree reprised her role as Dakota Davies in March 2018, filming special scenes in London with Paul Robinson’s son, Leo Tanaka, who was investigating the mysterious death of his mother.
For six years, Sheree co-hosted the live Sunday morning show on Hits Radio and is currently a presenter on the BBC show Morning Live.
