Alfie Moore is a humorous speaker, BBC Radio 4 presenter, and comedy writer, known for his unique perspective as a recently retired police officer. He provides insights into modern policing, blending his experiences from two decades on the beat with comedic storytelling that highlights the absurdities of everyday incidents.
Alfie served with the Lincolnshire and Humberside police forces, taking on various roles such as front-line response officer, Neighbourhood Sergeant, and Detective Sergeant in the Public Protection Team. He also worked with the local Drugs Unit and the Regional Counter Terrorism Team.
He writes and presents the popular BBC Radio 4 comedy series "IT’S A FAIR COP," which will air its eighth series in Spring 2024 and be available on BBC Sounds. His television credits include appearances on "Show Me the Funny," "Bizarre Crime," "Confessions of a Copper," and as a guest presenter on Channel 5’s "Caught on Camera."
Alfie regularly performs at the Edinburgh Festival and is currently touring his solo stand-up show, "A FACE FOR RADIO," to sold-out venues across the UK. On their national tours, he has supported well-known comedians such as Rhod Gilbert, Sarah Millican, Russell Kane, and Milton Jones.
