Charlie Dimmock gives audiences practical garden design and planting advice they can put to use straight away. A trained horticulturalist, Charlie co-presented the BBC's Ground Force for eight years and has presented Garden Rescue since 2016.
Charlie Dimmock is a trained horticulturalist and one of the UK's best-known gardening presenters. She's spent nearly 30 years showing TV audiences how to turn tired outdoor spaces into gardens people actually use.
Charlie trained in amenity horticulture, including a year at London's Chelsea Physic Garden, before a pond she built for an ITV Meridian series led to a place on the BBC's Ground Force. She co-presented the show with Alan Titchmarsh and Tommy Walsh for all eight years it aired, and has presented Garden Rescue on BBC One since 2016.
Alongside her TV work, Charlie has presented coverage of the Chelsea Flower Show, been the gardening expert on ITV's Daybreak and CBS's The Early Show, and wrote a weekly Mail on Sunday column for many years. Her books include Enjoy Your Garden and the Ground Force Water Garden Workbook, and she's launched her own range of gardening equipment.
