Denise Parnell broke barriers in 2024 when she became the first woman to serve as Championship Referee at Wimbledon in the tournament's 125-year history, and the first female Referee of any Grand Slam event.
Denise brings 36 years of officiating experience across more than 40 countries, including Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup, ATP and WTA tournaments. She has held the Referee role at the HSBC Championships at The Queen's Club for five years, the first woman to do so at ATP 500 level anywhere in the world. She also runs a consultancy specialising in high-tech sports data and statistics.
