Jack Nicholls
Jack Nicholls brings Formula 1 and live sport to audiences through expert broadcasting and commentary. A BAFTA-winning motorsport and Olympics commentator, Jack was the BBC's lead Formula 1 voice for a decade and has been the Dakar Rally commentator since 2024.

Jack Nicholls is a BAFTA-winning, Emmy-nominated sports broadcaster with over 15 years of experience in front of and behind the camera, specialising in live sport commentary and production.
He was the BBC's lead Formula 1 commentator for a decade, providing race commentary for Radio 5 Live and for Netflix's Drive to Survive, and spent ten years as world feed commentator for the FIA Formula E World Championship. He now also serves as Executive Producer for E1 Series powerboat racing and has covered four Olympic Games, including as Eurosport's Tokyo 2020 continuity announcer, and has hosted events for clients including Porsche, Jaguar, and Julius Baer.
Jack's fluency extends well beyond Formula 1, taking in GT racing in Asia, the Handball Champions League, World Gymnastics, and the TCS World 10K Bengaluru, plus football credits spanning BBC's Final Score, Ligue 1 highlights, and Germany's domestic leagues. He is now in his third consecutive season commentating on the Dakar Rally, having first covered it in 2024. Beyond the microphone, Jack also works in talent management within the sports and entertainment industry, giving him a practical understanding of how events and partnerships fit into a client's wider commercial goals.
Jack brings an informed understanding of live sport alongside the practical skills needed to host conversations, moderate panels, interview high-profile guests, and make complex subjects accessible. His light-hearted, engaging delivery style translates technical detail into stories anyone can follow.
Book Jack to bring a broadcaster's insight, race-day storytelling, and genuine sporting expertise to your event.
Jack Nicholls pairs a decade as the BBC's Formula 1 commentator with three seasons calling the Dakar Rally and experience hosting high-profile motorsport events for clients including Porsche and Jaguar. That mix of broadcast authority and live event command suits any organisation wanting a host who understands the sport.

To book Jack Nicholls, email jack.nicholls@getapeptalk.com or call PepTalk on +44 20 3835 2929 (UK) or +1 737 888 5112 (US), and one of our speaker agents will contact you within hours to confirm Jack's availability and speaking fee. If you can, please include your budget upfront – it helps us fast-track your request. It’s also helpful to know the date, format (virtual or in-person), location, and about your audience.
No. PepTalk adds no booking fee, so you pay the speaker's fee and nothing beyond it. The service, from shortlist through to contracts and event-day logistics, is included. For repeat or multi-event bookings, PepTalk can agree preferential rates with your procurement team.
Share your event date, audience, format, objectives and budget, and PepTalk sends a hand-picked shortlist within 24 hours. Each suggestion comes with a profile, a fee and a recommendation on the strongest fit. Once you choose, PepTalk handles contracts, travel and logistics through to event day.
The typical fee range is the speaker's standard in-person fee in their home market, shown in their local currency. It moves with format, location, date and session length: virtual sessions and shorter slots usually cost less, while international travel and peak dates cost more. Send your brief to PepTalk and the team will confirm the exact fee in your currency.
Not all of them, and it makes no difference to your booking. PepTalk's network of 15,000+ speakers covers talent the team works with directly alongside speakers represented by agents and agencies worldwide. PepTalk approaches the speaker, negotiates the fee and handles contracting either way.
Three to six months ahead is comfortable for most events, and 12 months is better for large conferences, peak-season dates or one specific in-demand speaker. Shorter timelines are workable, and PepTalk regularly fills last-minute and replacement bookings within days. Availability is the constraint, so get in touch as soon as you have a date.
