Nikki Bhamra is an award-winning keynote speaker, former Senior Crime Investigator and human behaviour expert who helps leaders apply an investigative mindset to better understand people, strengthen performance, and create high-performing cultures.
For more than two decades, Nikki led teams investigating serious and organised crime, including complex human trafficking investigations, where understanding people, challenging assumptions and uncovering what others missed were critical to success. She is a TEDx speaker and guest speaker on the University of Cambridge Master's in Leadership programme, working with senior leaders and executives from around the world. She is also an accredited Insights Discovery Practitioner and qualified coach.
Today, Nikki brings those same investigative principles into organisations. Drawing on real investigations and first-hand leadership experience, she helps audiences ask better questions, challenge assumptions, recognise bias and blind spots, understand the behaviours driving performance and make more balanced, evidence-based judgements. Her work explores the human factors that sit beneath people, performance and culture: how trust is built and lost, why teams stop speaking up, how assumptions shape what we see, and what enables people to learn, collaborate and perform at their best.
Known for gripping storytelling, practical insight and an engaging, distinctive delivery style, Nikki doesn't simply tell audiences what great leadership and culture look like; she gives them a different lens through which to investigate what is really happening.
For leaders ready to challenge assumptions and see their culture clearly, Nikki brings an investigative perspective few speakers offer.
Topics, sessions and talks
Trust is not built through slogans or good intentions. It is earned through consistent behaviour, and few people understand that better than Nikki Bhamra. Drawing on more than two decades leading investigations into serious organised crime, Nikki reveals the lessons criminal networks understand about loyalty, influence, and human behaviour, and how ethical organisations can apply them. Audiences leave understanding why trust is one of the most powerful advantages an organisation can build, and how small behaviours decide whether it grows or collapses.
What makes some teams pull together when the pressure is on, while others begin to fall apart? Drawing on more than two decades leading investigative teams, Nikki Bhamra explores what happens when people are united by a shared mission, trust one another enough to speak up, and are willing to learn when things go wrong. Through real investigative stories and practical leadership insight, she shows how organisations can create cultures where people communicate honestly, take accountability, learn from mistakes and continuously improve together – turning teamwork into something people do, rather than something organisations simply talk about.
The biggest risks in organisations often sit in the gap between what we think is happening and what is really happening. That gap shapes how we judge people, interpret situations, and make decisions. Forged on the front line of serious and organised crime, Nikki Bhamra's talk, The Investigator’s Mindset™, gives leaders a practical way to close that gap - challenging assumptions, uncovering blind spots, and looking beyond the obvious. The result is better judgement, stronger decisions and more effective responses to people, performance, and complex situations.
Rather than talking about culture, Nikki Bhamra's signature workshop turns delegates into investigators. Working in teams, they examine evidence, challenge assumptions, and uncover the hidden behaviours shaping a fictional organisation's culture. A facilitated debrief brings the group back together to connect what they have found to their own workplace. Because participants discover the lessons themselves rather than being told them, the conversations that follow about trust, communication, and accountability tend to be unusually honest and long remembered.
Nikki brings a genuinely distinctive investigative perspective to leadership, people, and organisational culture. Drawing on more than two decades leading teams investigating serious and organised crime, she helps audiences challenge assumptions, understand behaviour, uncover what others miss and apply better judgement. Her sessions leave leaders with tools they can use immediately to build trust, strengthen teams, and create high-performing cultures.

No. PepTalk adds no booking fee, so you pay the speaker's fee and nothing beyond it. The service, from shortlist through to contracts and event-day logistics, is included. For repeat or multi-event bookings, PepTalk can agree preferential rates with your procurement team.
Share your event date, audience, format, objectives and budget, and PepTalk sends a hand-picked shortlist within 24 hours. Each suggestion comes with a profile, a fee and a recommendation on the strongest fit. Once you choose, PepTalk handles contracts, travel and logistics through to event day.
The typical fee range is the speaker's standard in-person fee in their home market, shown in their local currency. It moves with format, location, date and session length: virtual sessions and shorter slots usually cost less, while international travel and peak dates cost more. Send your brief to PepTalk and the team will confirm the exact fee in your currency.
Not all of them, and it makes no difference to your booking. PepTalk's network of 15,000+ speakers covers talent the team works with directly alongside speakers represented by agents and agencies worldwide. PepTalk approaches the speaker, negotiates the fee and handles contracting either way.
Three to six months ahead is comfortable for most events, and 12 months is better for large conferences, peak-season dates or one specific in-demand speaker. Shorter timelines are workable, and PepTalk regularly fills last-minute and replacement bookings within days. Availability is the constraint, so get in touch as soon as you have a date.
