Learning at Work Week (LAW Week) is the UK's flagship celebration of workplace learning, returning each May to help organisations get connected around a shared culture of growth. Led nationally by the Campaign for Learning, the week highlights the power of continuous learning, not just for personal growth, but to support healthier, happier, and more productive workplaces and communities.

For organisations, supporting a culture of learning can enhance productivity, spark innovation, and boost competitiveness, while improving employee satisfaction and retention. LAW Week offers a unique opportunity to explore the impact of learning and development on both your employees and your organisation. It’s a chance to uncover hidden internal talent, address skills gaps, and discover how learning can help your teams thrive.

PepTalk marked a recent LAW Week around the theme “Get Connected,” which speaks to fostering connections between people, learning opportunities, and shared goals that drive both individual and organisational growth. We explored the three familiar LAW Week activity tracks, growth, inspiration, and exploration, and put together speaker recommendations for each so you can tailor your own activities to your organisational goals. If you’re planning ahead for the next LAW Week, read on for inspiration, and see our related pieces on building a culture of continuous learning and learning at your own pace.
