Adrian Ballinger is a world-class mountaineer, business leader, and professional speaker. As founder and head guide of the internationally acclaimed Alpenglow Expeditions, Adrian envisioned a more holistic climbing experience for his clients than the status quo. Focusing on small groups and client education, this vision continues to change how big mountains are climbed.
What started in 2004 with three trips on one continent with one lead guide has grown into a thriving company. How was Alpenglow able to expand to 10 times its size in 10 years, all while setting new industry standards and expectations? Adrian believes running a business is like climbing a mountain and attributes his extensive mountaineering experiences to his company's success.
As a professional athlete, first and foremost, Adrian is the only American who has skied two 8,000-meter peaks, was the first person to ski Manaslu, the 8th tallest mountain in the world, and, in 2011, became the first person to summit three 8,000-meter peaks in only three weeks (Everest twice and Lhotse once). He is the only American guide with AMGA and IFMGA guide certifications and has achieved more than ten summits of 8,000-meter peaks (including six summits of Mt. Everest).
If you want to inspire your rope team to work together to achieve their goals or find the path to making your business a success, then it's time to start your ascent to the top with Adrian.
Adrian's unparalleled achievements in mountaineering and his transformative leadership in growing Alpenglow Expeditions exemplify his mastery of teamwork, resilience, and strategic planning. By booking him as a speaker, your team or business will gain invaluable insights from his unique blend of high-altitude adventures and business acumen, inspiring you to conquer your own Everest. Let Adrian guide you through the principles of success that transcend mountains and boardrooms alike, empowering your group to reach new heights together.

No. PepTalk adds no booking fee, so you pay the speaker's fee and nothing beyond it. The service, from shortlist through to contracts and event-day logistics, is included. For repeat or multi-event bookings, PepTalk can agree preferential rates with your procurement team.
Share your event date, audience, format, objectives and budget, and PepTalk sends a hand-picked shortlist within 24 hours. Each suggestion comes with a profile, a fee and a recommendation on the strongest fit. Once you choose, PepTalk handles contracts, travel and logistics through to event day.
The typical fee range is the speaker's standard in-person fee in their home market, shown in their local currency. It moves with format, location, date and session length: virtual sessions and shorter slots usually cost less, while international travel and peak dates cost more. Send your brief to PepTalk and the team will confirm the exact fee in your currency.
Not all of them, and it makes no difference to your booking. PepTalk's network of 15,000+ speakers covers talent the team works with directly alongside speakers represented by agents and agencies worldwide. PepTalk approaches the speaker, negotiates the fee and handles contracting either way.
Three to six months ahead is comfortable for most events, and 12 months is better for large conferences, peak-season dates or one specific in-demand speaker. Shorter timelines are workable, and PepTalk regularly fills last-minute and replacement bookings within days. Availability is the constraint, so get in touch as soon as you have a date.
