Daniel Kraft, MD is a physician-scientist and entrepreneur who helps organizations understand how emerging technologies will reshape healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. He serves as a faculty chair for Medicine at Singularity University and founded NextMed Health, a program exploring rapidly developing technologies and their potential in biomedicine and healthcare.
Daniel completed his medical training at Stanford and Harvard, with board certification in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics. He serves as Chair of the XPRIZE Pandemic & Health Alliance and is a managing partner with Continuum Health Ventures, which funds early-stage health technology companies. His research has been published in Nature and Science, and he holds multiple patents in medical devices, immunology, and stem cell therapies. Also a pilot and flight surgeon, Daniel has conducted research on aerospace medicine that was published with NASA, where he became a finalist for astronaut selection. He has delivered four TED talks and two TEDMED presentations as well as keynotes to a wide range of organizations.
