José Morey, known as the first Intergalactic Doctor, is an Eisenhower Fellow and serves as the Chief Medical Innovation Officer for Liberty BioSecurity.
He is the CEO and Founder of Ad Astra Media LLC and holds the position of Director of Innovation and Chief Engineering Council/Innovation Lead at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies.
José is a Senior Advisor to the Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology CORD19 Project and the NASA AI Breathing Space Initiative.
He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and serves as the Medical Technology and Artificial Intelligence Officer for NASA iTech.
Additionally, he mentors with MIT Solve, IDEAS Global Challenge, and the MIT 100K Entrepreneurship Competition - Accelerate.
Previously, he was the Associate Chief Health Officer and Senior Medical Scientist at IBM Watson Health.
José is an AI Ambassador for DeepLearning.AI and a member of the American Board of Radiology, Xcertia-American Medical Association, Aerospace Medical Association, The Space Foundation, and The Planetary Society.
He sits on the Board of Directors for the Medical Society of Virginia and the Virginia Chapter of the American College of Radiology.
He is also faculty at Singularity University and serves on the education admission committee for the Space Foundation and the admissions committee for the Space Technology Hall of Fame.
As an international speaker on AI and technology innovation, José has presented to NASA360, the Radiologic Society of North America, HIIMS, Academy Health, Health Datapalooza, Tech.Co, Frost & Sullivan Executive MindXchange, Stifel Nicolaus Healthcare Investment Conference, the Chinese Medical Association, and the Senate of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
He has co-authored over 100 abstracts, book chapters, and articles and is frequently featured in Forbes, Univision, CNBC, and NASA360.
