Jonathan Wolf's biography

At a glance

  • Cofounder of personalised nutrition company ZOE
  • Led world's largest COVID study with millions of participants
  • Former Chief Product Officer at Criteo

Jonathan Wolf is the co-founder and CEO of ZOE, a personalised nutrition company that is revolutionising the way we understand our health. Through pioneering research, ZOE offers at-home tests that analyse how different foods affect our bodies, based on our unique gut microbiome. Collaborating with leading institutions like Harvard, Stanford, and King’s College London, ZOE runs the world’s largest nutrition science study and uses artificial intelligence to tailor health and nutrition plans that empower individuals to improve their well-being and manage their weight effectively.

Jonathan also co-founded the ZOE Health Study, formerly the ZOE COVID Study, which has become the largest COVID study globally, with over 4.6 million participants. This groundbreaking initiative has produced over 30 peer-reviewed scientific papers in esteemed journals like The Lancet and Nature Medicine. Jonathan's efforts have significantly advanced public health research from developing the first machine learning model to predict COVID from symptoms to discovering links between diet quality and reduced risk of hospitalisation.

Before launching ZOE, Jonathan served as Chief Product Officer at Criteo. This tech company grew from a 30-person start-up to a global NASDAQ-listed firm with over 2,000 employees and more than $1 billion in revenue. He was pivotal in building the product organisation, expanding the company into new markets, and opening the New York office. Jonathan’s earlier career includes Yahoo!, Atlas Venture, and the Boston Consulting Group roles.

Jonathan, an Oxford University graduate, was awarded the prestigious Gibbs Prize for Physics and later studied at Harvard. He has also been a Foundation Fellow at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, since 2015. Jonathan’s remarkable career has seen him at the forefront of both technological innovation and scientific discovery, making him an influential voice in health and nutrition today.

frequently asked questions

Something we've not covered here?

How do I book Jonathan Wolf for my next event?

Email jonathan.wolf@getapeptalk.com or call PepTalk on +44 20 3835 2929 (UK) or +1 737 888 5112 (US), and one of our speaker agents will contact you within hours to confirm Jonathan's availability and fees. If you can, please include your budget upfront – it helps us fast-track your request. It’s also helpful to know the date, format (virtual or in-person), location, and a bit about your audience.

What is Jonathan Wolf's speaking style like?

Jonathan Wolf structures his talks around the journey of building ZOE, using data points and research milestones — such as the 4.6 million-participant COVID study and collaborations with Harvard, Stanford, and King's College London — to ground his entrepreneurial and leadership narrative in measurable outcomes.

What topics does Jonathan Wolf specialise in?

Jonathan Wolf speaks on personalised nutrition and health science, entrepreneurial growth, and data-driven business strategy. He is co-founder and CEO of ZOE, which runs the world's largest nutrition science study in collaboration with Harvard, Stanford, and King's College London, and co-founded the ZOE Health Study, a global COVID research initiative with over 4.6 million participants and more than 30 peer-reviewed papers published in journals including The Lancet and Nature Medicine.

Does PepTalk charge a booking fee?

No. PepTalk adds no booking fee, so you pay the speaker's fee and nothing beyond it. The service, from shortlist through to contracts and event-day logistics, is included. For repeat or multi-event bookings, PepTalk can agree preferential rates with your procurement team.

What happens after I send a brief?

Share your event date, audience, format, objectives and budget, and PepTalk sends a hand-picked shortlist within 24 hours. Each suggestion comes with a profile, a fee and a recommendation on the strongest fit. Once you choose, PepTalk handles contracts, travel and logistics through to event day.

What does the typical fee range mean?

The typical fee range is the speaker's standard in-person fee in their home market, shown in their local currency. It moves with format, location, date and session length: virtual sessions and shorter slots usually cost less, while international travel and peak dates cost more. Send your brief to PepTalk and the team will confirm the exact fee in your currency.

Have all the speakers on the website worked with PepTalk before?

Not all of them, and it makes no difference to your booking. PepTalk's network of 15,000+ speakers covers talent the team works with directly alongside speakers represented by agents and agencies worldwide. PepTalk approaches the speaker, negotiates the fee and handles contracting either way.

How far in advance should I book a speaker?

Three to six months ahead is comfortable for most events, and 12 months is better for large conferences, peak-season dates or one specific in-demand speaker. Shorter timelines are workable, and PepTalk regularly fills last-minute and replacement bookings within days. Availability is the constraint, so get in touch as soon as you have a date.
