Alanna Shaikh is a global health consultant and expert in resilience. She serves as the Principal Consultant of Tomorrow Global and has collaborated with government officials and development donors.
Alanna holds a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a Master's degree in Public Health from Boston University. She has been recognised as a TED Fellow and Senior TED Fellow, contributing significantly to global health discussions. Her TEDGlobal talk, "How I’m preparing to get Alzheimer’s," delivered in 2012, received considerable attention. In March 2020, she presented a TEDx talk titled "Coronavirus is our Future," which attracted over 20 million views.
Her expertise lies in strengthening health systems, and she has authored "What’s Killing Us: A Practical Guide to Understanding Our Biggest Global Health Problems."
