Scott D. Anthony is a Clinical Professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, specialising in strategy, innovation, and leadership. His career spans over two decades, focusing on disruptive change and organisational transformation.
Anthony graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College in 1996 and earned his MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He also holds an Executive Master in Change from INSEAD, completed with distinction.
His professional journey began with an apprenticeship under Clayton Christensen at Harvard Business School. In 2003, he joined Innosight, a consultancy co-founded by Christensen, where he established its US operations and led its expansion into Asia, opening the Singapore office in 2010. As Managing Partner from 2012 to 2018, he oversaw a tripling of revenue and international growth. After Huron Consulting acquired Innosight in 2017, Anthony continued as an adviser and contributed to national strategies in Singapore, serving on the Committee on the Future Economy and as a board member of MediaCorp and NTUC LearningHub.
In 2022, he returned to the US to teach at Dartmouth, offering courses like "Leading Disruptive Change" and "Horizon Scanning," which combine strategy, innovation, and psychology. Anthony has authored eight books, including "Eat, Sleep, Innovate" and "Dual Transformation," providing frameworks for organisations facing disruption. His recent article in Harvard Business Review is "Persuade Your Company to Change Before It’s Too Late."
Recognised globally, Anthony was named the seventh most influential management thinker by Thinkers50 in 2021 and the ninth in 2023. He has been nominated for the Thinkers50 Innovation Award three times, winning in 2017. His work continues to impact the fields of strategy and innovation, making him a significant figure in both business and academia.
