Darren Burns is the Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the Timpson Group and heads the Timpson Foundation. He focuses on recruiting and retaining ex-offenders and others facing employment barriers. Darren builds relationships with UK prisons, police, and probation services. He manages Timpson's prison training academies and oversees the transition from custody to the workplace. Passionate about diversity and inclusion, he offers consultancy services to progressive businesses and educates others on the benefits of employing ex-offenders and marginalised groups. As a former Police Officer, Darren's experience in challenging areas of the UK helps him break the offending cycle and secure employment for marginalised individuals.
