Topics, Sessions And Talks
This session examines why so many organizations unintentionally drain human energy instead of unlocking it, and what it truly means to put people first at work. Drawing on research, real-world examples, and case studies from human-first companies, it challenges outdated ideas of productivity, leadership, and culture. Trust, burnout prevention, and emotional culture are reframed through a practical lens, showing how intentional leadership reshapes performance and engagement.
Lisa Walden draws on proprietary research and real-world insights into how Gen Z is reshaping workplace norms, expectations, and leadership dynamics. She explores what drives this generation’s approach to work, why their behaviors often seem contradictory to older leaders, and where friction commonly arises. With a balanced and practical approach, common frustrations are reframed into leadership opportunities that strengthen culture and future-proof organizations.
In this session, Lisa Walden decodes the fast-moving language of modern work and what it reveals about deeper shifts in employee mindset and organizational culture. From social media-driven trends to generational expectations, it unpacks what is really happening beneath the buzzwords. Emerging behaviors are connected to unmet needs and changing values, offering a practical way to transform cultural tension into engagement, alignment, and meaningful organizational change.
This session addresses the reality of leading in constant transition, where ambiguity, volatility, and pressure define daily work. Through research-backed strategies and practical frameworks, it examines how leaders can remain steady while acknowledging complexity and uncertainty. The focus is on transparency, emotional steadiness, and sustainable leadership habits that build trust even when answers are unclear, helping create stability, protect wellbeing, and maintain momentum during change.
Lisa Walden tackles one of the most common sources of workplace frustration by examining how modern communication styles collide across platforms and personalities. It unpacks unspoken etiquette, messaging mishaps, and emotional subtext in everyday interactions. Through practical tools and relatable examples, Lisa shows how intention, awareness, and empathy transform feedback, virtual meetings, email, and difficult conversations into opportunities for clarity, connection, and stronger working relationships.
