Gabby Logan, MBE, is one of the UK’s leading broadcasters, a former international gymnast, and an accomplished writer and journalist. Recognised with an MBE for her services to sports broadcasting and her efforts to promote women in sport, Gabby has become a trailblazer in the industry, inspiring others with her resilience and determination to succeed in a traditionally male-dominated field.
After competing as a Commonwealth Games rhythmic gymnast, Gabby began her broadcasting career in radio in 1992 before joining Sky Sports in 1996, where she quickly established herself as a key presenter. In 2004, she hosted Sport Relief for the BBC, officially joining the corporation in 2007. Since then, she has presented a range of flagship programmes, including Final Score, Inside Sport, Match of the Day, and The Six Nations. Gabby has also anchored coverage of major global events, such as the Olympics (2008–2021), FIFA World Cups, Commonwealth Games, and the Invictus Games. More recently, she has become a regular presenter for Amazon Prime Video’s sports fixtures.
Beyond broadcasting, Gabby is a prolific writer, contributing to The Times, The Independent, The Guardian, Glamour, and Stylist Magazine. She is also an accomplished author, having penned The First Half and The Midpoint Plan. In addition, Gabby has embraced the podcasting world with her chart-topping series, The Midpoint and The Sports Agents (co-hosted with Mark Chapman).
Gabby’s influence extends beyond media, as she actively supports several charitable causes and serves as a patron for organisations such as the Disabilities Trust, Prince’s Trust, and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Her professionalism, engaging style, and sense of humour have made her a popular choice for corporate events, motivational talks, and award ceremonies.
