Dr Ritika "Ritz" Suk Birah is a qualified Consultant Counselling Psychologist (HCPC) with a background in Neuroscience (BSc Hons). Her work focuses on enhancing resilience, resetting mindsets, and fostering healthier habits in organisations and workplaces.
Born in the UK and raised in Singapore, Dr Ritz spent her university holidays in Hong Kong with her family. As a British Indian, she has a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. Today, Ritz is a Consultant at three private hospitals, specialising in acute general psychiatry and providing psychological assessment and therapy. She has also launched an online journal subscription service, Reflect with Dr Ritz, which is delivered via WhatsApp. This service aims to make therapy principles, psychology, and neuroscience techniques accessible to a wider audience.
With over 12 years of clinical experience, Ritz delivers mental health and wellbeing programmes rooted in neuroscience and resilience to private and public organisations. She balances her time between individual therapy, speaking engagements, workshops, and developing bespoke workplace programmes. Her key speaking themes include building resilience, mindset, mental health and wellbeing, burnout, work-life balance, habit formation, and stress management.
Ritz has collaborated with prominent companies and brands, including Mamas and Papas, Silver Cross, Fitbit, iCandy, Mama Mio, Snuz UK, Totter and Tumble, Oliver Wyman, and Lloyds Bank. She has supported companies with their team’s well-being and curated mental health content for wider audiences. Ritz co-hosts a podcast, The Therapy Floor, with Dr Vicki. They tackle various dilemmas, providing psychological insight and practical advice.
