Roberta "Beta" Lucca is a creative entrepreneur and co-founder of Bossa Studios, a leading British video game developer. Under her leadership, Bossa Studios has become one of Europe's most successful gaming companies, known for its BAFTA-winning titles like "Mastermind," "I Am Bread," and "Surgeon Simulator."
Recognised as one of Forbes' Top 50 Women in Tech, Roberta holds two MBAs in management and marketing from COPPEAD Business School in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As a keynote speaker, she inspires audiences to adopt a creative and entrepreneurial mindset while exploring innovation in an uncertain world.
Roberta has collaborated with global companies and organisations, including Ocado, Disney, Unilever, Forbes, SLUSH, NatWest, Creative Informatics, CogX, Creative England, InnovateUK, and the Festival of Marketing. She has been featured in the Financial Times, BBC News, Sky News, and Disney Channel.
In 2022, she served as a judge and angel investor on BBC One’s The Apprentice, evaluating contestants tasked with building and promoting a video game. Recently, she has been a mentor and judge on the Amazon Prime UK/US show Ready Set StartUP.
Before founding Bossa, Roberta worked as an innovation expert at Nokia and at TV Globo, Brazil's second-largest commercial TV network. She also established Wonderluk, one of the first companies in the 3D-printing market, specialising in on-demand 3D-printed jewellery.
