Dr. Mark Bloomfield’s career is defined by reinvention. A "failed" pilot and golfer, Dr. Mark has navigated disruption both personally and professionally, constantly pivoting to stay ahead of the curve. As a Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School, he now teaches AI, innovation, and transformation.
Dr. Mark founded Turbulence, helping organisations develop future-ready strategies by leveraging disruptive forces such as AI and sustainability. His deep experience with disruption enables him to guide leaders through uncertainty, offering practical insights that go far beyond theory and helping them harness emerging technologies to stay ahead.
Recently, Dr. Mark launched The Transformation Tour, an immersive, golf-based leadership programme. He believes we learn best through play and uses this platform to challenge leaders to rethink their approach to disruption and decision-making, fostering new skills and mindsets.
Previously, Dr. Mark spent over a decade as Director of Commercial Transformation at Global Media & Entertainment, where he led large-scale AI, innovation, and transformation projects that reshaped the industry. His career began as Head of Operations Research at Thomas Cook.
With a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Airbus and a proven track record of leading organisations through change, Mark’s story is one of resilience, adaptation, and continuous transformation. He empowers others not just to survive disruption but to thrive through it.
