Will Van Der Hart
Will Van Der Hart helps senior leaders build resilience, resolve conflict, and protect their wellbeing under pressure. A leadership coach, Anglican priest, and author of ten books on emotional health, Will has worked with HSBC, Goldman Sachs, and Netflix.

Will Van Der Hart is a leadership coach, Anglican priest, and author who helps senior leaders stay clear-headed, resilient, and well when the pressure doesn't let up.
He has written ten books on emotional health, most recently When Thoughts Get Stuck, co-written with Thea Joshi, alongside The Worry Book and The Power of Belonging. He co-directs the mental health charity Mind and Soul Foundation, serves as Wellbeing Chaplain to the Revitalise Trust, and sits on the boards of a luxury retail brand, a technology company, and a real estate business.
His referral-only coaching practice works with leaders carrying significant responsibility, many in private equity and corporate law, through succession, family business transitions, and questions of career satisfaction after forty. He also advises businesses on culture, values, retention, and strategy. On stage, Will brings that coaching and pastoral experience to perfectionism, worry, belonging, and conflict, the issues most leaders handle privately and rarely talk about at work.
Audiences come away with practical ways to interrupt worry and perfectionism, handle conflict with more empathy, and look after their own wellbeing while leading others. He has worked with HSBC, Goldman Sachs, and Boston Consulting, and has recently worked with Netflix.
Book Will for a candid, practical session on leadership, resilience, and emotional health that teams keep talking about afterwards.

Perfectionism can look like high standards, but it often masks a fear of falling short. Will Van Der Hart draws on years of coaching senior leaders to unpick why perfectionism takes hold under pressure, and what keeps it in place long after it stops being useful. Speaking with the same straight-talking, accessible style he brings to his coaching practice, Will offers practical ways to stay focused and present when the drive to get everything right becomes a source of stress.
Drawing on his book of the same name, Will Van Der Hart examines why leaders often carry a private sense of not belonging, even at the top of their careers, and how that gap limits confidence and decision-making. He makes the case for vulnerability, properly understood, as the foundation of authentic leadership. Audiences leave with a clearer sense of what genuine confidence looks like, and how to build it without pretending to have all the answers.
Worry can feel productive, as though thinking harder about a problem will eventually solve it. Will Van Der Hart, drawing on his book on the subject, explains why the brain gets stuck in circular thinking and how that pattern erodes focus and decision-making under pressure. He sets out practical, evidence-based ways to interrupt worry and tolerate uncertainty, so audiences leave with tools they can use straight away, in high-pressure moments and everyday working life alike.
Will Van Der Hart pairs two decades as an Anglican priest with a referral-only coaching practice for senior leaders in private equity and corporate law. That mix lets him talk about worry, perfectionism, and conflict with honesty and practical tools, which lands well with leadership teams under pressure.

No. PepTalk adds no booking fee, so you pay the speaker's fee and nothing beyond it. The service, from shortlist through to contracts and event-day logistics, is included. For repeat or multi-event bookings, PepTalk can agree preferential rates with your procurement team.
Share your event date, audience, format, objectives and budget, and PepTalk sends a hand-picked shortlist within 24 hours. Each suggestion comes with a profile, a fee and a recommendation on the strongest fit. Once you choose, PepTalk handles contracts, travel and logistics through to event day.
The typical fee range is the speaker's standard in-person fee in their home market, shown in their local currency. It moves with format, location, date and session length: virtual sessions and shorter slots usually cost less, while international travel and peak dates cost more. Send your brief to PepTalk and the team will confirm the exact fee in your currency.
Not all of them, and it makes no difference to your booking. PepTalk's network of 15,000+ speakers covers talent the team works with directly alongside speakers represented by agents and agencies worldwide. PepTalk approaches the speaker, negotiates the fee and handles contracting either way.
Three to six months ahead is comfortable for most events, and 12 months is better for large conferences, peak-season dates or one specific in-demand speaker. Shorter timelines are workable, and PepTalk regularly fills last-minute and replacement bookings within days. Availability is the constraint, so get in touch as soon as you have a date.
